One More School Identifies HIV in Their Students

Country like US also identifies HIV infections in school children. Students in suburban high school planned HIV test after an infected person told the health officials more 50 teenagers might have been exposed to virus that causes AIDS.

This was a black mark on the health department because they failed to educate both parents and children about how HIV is affected and what are the precautions to be taken for avoiding the effect of HIV. More than 50 students may have infection; the number itself says the failure of the health department’s officials.

After infection of HIV to more than 50 students in different schools, the national AIDS organizations are now trying to minimize the fallout and explaining the preventative methods for infection of HIV. Health department spokesman said that the possibilities on how the students have exposed including the sexual activities, intravenous drug use, tattoos etc.

This news was really bad because the school children are infected with HIV then what would be the infection rate in teenagers. The government and health departments should take necessary steps for reducing the infection rates.
