Does Heart Failure Affect Quality Of Life?

Heart failure can occur due to stoppage in pulse or low pulse rate. This condition is originally known as congestive heart failure. With medical advances the people are survived with heart disease and leading normal life.

It is estimated that after having a heart attack, more than 20 percent of men will be disabled with heart failure in six year or less and more than 40 percent of women are also face the above situation. The quality life is much affected compared to other diseases. They require in-home care from their family members and should receive the care in a nursing home periodically. They even become disabled and face difficulties in doing day to day activities like walking, etc.

Geriatric conditions are experienced and clinical conditions are highly prevalent like urinary incontinence, dementia and injuries for falling and many more. So, people with heart failure should be kept in observation always by the family members.
